Vision

The Woodward Children's Center continues to strive to be the leader in providing excellence in special education service and support for students and their families challenged by the presence of disabling social, emotional, and behavioral disorders. Our vision is to be the special education and treatment program of choice for families and their sponsoring school districts.

We pledge to teach each of our students the social and emotional skills necessary to face life's challenges, along with providing them cutting edge education to meet the demands of the future. Additionally, we are assisting them in exploring their vocational and career goals, all of which will help them to live life to their fullest potential, and become contributing members of society. This mission has always relied on our dedicated teachers and other professional staff who are aided by the support and encouragement of the care-givers whose loving bond with our students provides the foundation of support on which Woodward was built.
