Announcement Introducing Woodward’s Interim Principal

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are thrilled to announce the return of a familiar face to the Woodward Children’s Center family, Mr. Nicholas Lenoci II, who has taken on the role of Interim Principal. Mr. Lenoci brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the unique needs of our students, having served as an employee at Woodward’s Children’s Center for nine years before embarking on a remarkable journey in education.

Mr. Lenoci’s career path led him to the NYC Department of Education, where he worked with a similar population in a District 75 school for several years. During this time, he not only demonstrated his dedication to education but also established himself as an accomplished Athletic Director and School Administrator. His journey continued with leadership roles, culminating in his position as a School Building Leader for Nassau BOCES.

The benefits of Mr. Lenoci’s journey are numerous and invaluable. His diverse experiences have equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of both educational and therapeutic needs, making him exceptionally well- suited to guide our students to success.

Mr. Lenoci’s approach is grounded in the principles of a growth mindset, fostering a positive attitude toward learning and development. His commitment to a team approach emphasizes collaboration among staff, ensuring a holistic and supportive environment for our children. By being present, consistent, and fair, Mr. Lenoci will contribute to the overall well-being and success of each student at Woodward Children’s Center.
