About Us The Woodward Children's Center is a 501(c)(3) Not-For-Profit Corporation and a P.L. 853 Non-Public School approved by the New York State Education Department. We are a member of the United Way of Long Island. Woodward partners with many of the major community organizations and businesses, both locally and county-wide. Woodward Children's Center affords opportunities for internships and volunteerism to local universities and community organizations. Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Referrals are accepted from:
Final approval for attendance is made by the school district. There is no tuition cost to the family for education or transportation. Woodward Children's Center does not discriminate on any basis.
