About Us

Founded in 1950, incorporated in 1957, Woodward Mental Health Center, Inc., also known as Woodward Children’s Center, serves emotionally disabled children, ages 5 through 21. Woodward Mental Health Center is a private, not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) corporation with a voluntary Board of Directors. The agency’s program is licensed by the New York State Education Department.

We are certified by the New York State Education Department as a State Approved Non-Public School, i.e. a school that is APPROVED TO PROVIDE SPECIAL EDUCATION SERVICES.
